Mission

The main mission of the Ex Lab is to provide ongoing Critique and Community to photographic artists.  Although classes are incredibly intimate and supportive they are also rigorous and challenging. You will grow as an artist in one of our classes. The core of the Exhibition Lab curriculum is our critique classes – Critique 1, Critique 2 and 3.  Each class is capped at ten photographers and aims to help you move your projects forward through comprehensive, serious and in-depth examinations of and discussion about your work.   Critique classes are led by Sasha and Michael or one or two other carefully chosen instructors. If you are interested in a critique class but not sure what level is right for you please do not hesitate to call or write to us.

We also offer workshops and lectures with practicing artists and photography professionals.  Our teachers are experts in their respective fields and generous people who love working with students.

Critique classes will be offered again in the spring for students who wish to continue on.
